On 4th and 7th November, 2016, at the school gymnasium, Anqing Foreign Language School convened the Third Session Badminton Competition Designated for the Teaching& Administrative Staff. Each labor union group showcased positive response and formed teams to participate in the match. More remarkably, Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli cheered for the contestants in person on the spot.
To be specific, the contest included men ’s doubles and women ’s doubles games, adopting the best-of-three-game system. 38 players from both the east and the west campuses competed in the match. Our contestants’ high morale, courageous strength& their splendid fish-diving save won unanimous applaud an cheers as well. The charm of badminton was fully demonstrated by our competitors’ smooth cooperation, flexible positioning in addition to their powerful smash.
To sum up, the badminton competition designated for the teaching& administrative staff is one of a series of nationwide fitness programs organized by Anqing Foreign Language School’s Labor Union and was well received by our teachers. The implementation of the match further enriched the spare-time cultural life of our staff. Besides, the contest unfolded before everyone’s eyes the positive spirit in Anqing Foreign Language School, which played an active role in facilitating the construction of a harmonious campus and promoting the implementation of mass sports activities.
More noticeably, the excellent players in this contest shall compete in the Third Session Staff’s Badminton Competition in municipal education& sports system on behalf of Anqing Foreign Language School.
